How NDIS time bands work

  • Weekday daytime — starts at or after 6:00 am and ends at or before 8:00 pm on a weekday.
  • Weekday evening — starts at or after 8:00 pm and finishes at or before midnight on a weekday.
  • Weekday night — crosses midnight into the next weekday, or starts before 6:00 am and finishes on that weekday.
  • Saturday / Sunday / Public holiday — any support delivered on that day (midnight to midnight).
  • Night-time sleepover — 8+ continuous hours across midnight where the worker can sleep.

Where a weekday shift starts in the daytime and runs past 8:00 pm, this tool splits it — daytime until 8:00 pm and evening after. Always check your service agreement and the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
